In the no so distant past, a colleague of mine expressed as to DARPA's Grand Challenge; "It's similar to all the geeky gentlemen went gungho over wise computerization and a considerable measure of them fizzle consistently."
Interestingly enough, I believe he's privilege, yet he overlooked the main issue. As it would turn out, that is the mission of DARPA; "High hazard, high pay off." Meaning its alright if a portion of the tasks fizzled, and truly that is fine by me, yet understand the DARPA Challenge was a great accomplishment for the couple of dollars it cost the citizens, similar to the X-Prizes splendid.
